Project description and objectives
The youth exchange "Fair Signs" aims to exchange experiences of deaf, hard-of-hearing and hearing people, especially in the field of communication. The project also focuses on developing new forms of communication between people speaking different languages, including sign languages. Theatre, dance, film and parkour workshops help in this kind of development.
The project takes place every 2 years and is based on a constellation of partners from Poland and Germany. Depending on the possibilities, the project includes partner organisations from other countries (e.g. Romania) that are interested in the topic of communication, especially in communication between deaf, hard of hearing and hard of hearing people. In the following years, cooperation is planned with partner organisations from Russia and Belarus and new institutions from Poland and Germany.
