Pentecost Meeting

We are pleased to invite you to this year’s Pentecost Meeting from June 6 to June 9, 2025, in Krzyżowa/Kreisau!

This annual gathering in Kreisau/Krzyżowa is an open event for people who feel connected to Krzyżowa through encounters, projects, or its history, but also for anyone who would like to discover the place for the first time.

Krzyżowa is a beautiful place to spend a few relaxing days: You can play on the meadow, go for walks, cycle to Świdnica/Schweidnitz, sit by the campfire in the evening, enjoy Polish specialties, explore the history of the site, and discuss the work of the organizations connected to the historic place of Krzyżowa.

There will be a program including guided tours, excursions, and discussions. However, you are free to take time for yourself and join again later. There will also be several activities for children and young people. If you have any suggestions or ideas for the program, please feel free to get in touch.

 

Language

This is an open meeting, and everyone is welcome. We will again try to communicate in a mix of German, English, and Polish—and we look forward to making the gathering more international each year!

Costs

Accommodation: Rooms with different standards and bed numbers are available in the Horse Stable, Cow Stable, Building 11, and the Granary. There are no accommodation costs for children up to and including three years old if they sleep in their parents' bed. For children aged 4 to 9 years, 50% of the costs listed below apply. Prices per night, including breakfast:

• 210 zł for a single room
• 260 zł for a double room
• 330 zł for a triple room
• 360-420 zł for a four-bed room
• 425-500 zł for a five-bed room

Meals & Program: The total cost for meals and program activities from Friday evening to Monday morning is approximately 340 zł per person.

• No meal costs for children up to and including three years
• about 170 zł for children between four and nine years old
• The cost will be adjusted for shorter stays

Additional costs - such as bike rental (50 zł per bike per day) - will be charged on-site.

The current exchange rate is 1 € = 4.21 zł.

Travel

Krzyżowa (about 70 km from Wrocław/Breslau) is approximately:

• 3.5 hours by car from Berlin
• 2 hours from Görlitz

There are several Eurocity train connections between Berlin and Legnica or Wrocław. The Kulturzug will also run again on the Berlin – Legnica – Wrocław route starting on April 11, 2025.

Please note that the train station in Krzyżowa is now a request stop. You must inform the conductor at least one station before Krzyżowa if you want to get off.

Flights, train, and bus connections to Wrocław are available from many cities. We are happy to provide tips for transfers from Wrocław to Krzyżowa.
